Giving Heather (and her husband by default) 5 stars. We are first time home buyers, using the VA loan, buying from out of state. We needed someone who knows what they're doing, a professional, and someone who was available for all of our beginner's questions. Heather was recommended to me by a personal family friend, and our first conversation was essentially an interrogation, and thankfully she took it all in stride. I think our first phone call was almost an hour. She connected us with different lenders, recommended certain home inspectors, etc and everyone did their best to help us. (Still do your own research, btw, but her recommendations were always top tier). Home buying is an expensive and emotional process, and Heather was there every step of the way to answer our "what ifs", which numbered probably in the triple digits. One conversation we had on HELOC and tree clearing, her husband was in the background also offering good advice that wasn't applicable to our situation but really good to know for the future. The house we bought came with some difficulties with the sellers and their agent, but Heather really fought for us and followed up. She also offered helping us with her own heaters when our heat wasn't working! We were in a weird limbo of "will we be able to move states or not" for several months, so even though we weren't yet "official" clients, Heather still treated us like clients about to sign a deal tomorrow. She still drove between east side of Cincinnati, to downtown, to NKY with us. She gave honest advice, and never ever pushed us to buy something. Not at all. Most of our contact was through phone calls and FaceTime, and she never skipped anything and took her time. Water damage? She found it. Over priced? She gave us her opinion. Question on if the sellers can remove the manure pile or chicken coop? She was ready to find out and was ready to write a clause in an offer. She was professional the entire time and again, truly knows what she is doing. VA loans can be tricky, and in areas she wasn't entirely sure she gave us a contact who could answer questions for us, so we were never without an answer. If you are looking for a property with acreage, a house in the suburbs, a project investment, and if you're using an USDA loan, a VA loan, a conventional loan, an FHA loan, all cash... use Heather!

Heather was great to work with! I moved from out of state, and didn’t know exactly where I wanted to buy. Heathers has licenses in NKY and Ohio, which made it super easy to look everywhere! Once I found my dream home, she helped me pick the right price and negotiate the details. She was always super responsive (I’m very text-y) and clarified things, even after closing!

I even decided to look at one additional home last minute before signing papers and they were so kind to show it to me (I’m sure they were frustrated with my indecisiveness, but they never showed it)! The Pilchers are incredible! You can’t go wrong working with them to buy or sell a home. They are super knowledgeable and helpful, especially in our situation relocating from Utah to Cincinnati. We got an inspection done and found the home needed as new roof and they did a great job helping us navigate the negotiations for getting a new roof, not to mention we did a pre-close walkthrough and found out the basement had a small flood with water damage due to a leaking laundry hookup.
